Managing Director, Credit Investment Operations PSP Investments

Peter Russell is Managing Director, Operations, Credit Investments for the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments USA). He leads the team responsible for operations, liquidity, reporting and analysis for the Credit Investments portfolio, which amounted to $26.1 billion at March 31, 2023, together with administration for the New York office for PSP.

Prior to joining PSP Investments, Peter was Vice President, Finance at Macquarie Group Limited, where he held roles across Macquarie’s Sydney, London and New York offices supporting the Macquarie Capital division, which comprised of corporate advisory, equity & debt capital markets and principal investing. He started his career at Pitcher Partners, an accounting services firm.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney and received a Master of Finance from INSEAD, France. He is also a Chartered Accountant in Australia.
