Mike is Managing Director and Head of Investment Operations at CPP Investments, a global investment organization managing over CAD $730 billion in assets. He has played a central role in modernizing the Fund’s investment operations—advancing automation, strengthening data capabilities, and evolving the operating model to support a growing and increasingly complex portfolio. In collaboration with his team and partners across the organization, Mike has helped position Investment Operations as a strategic enabler of long-term value creation. Together, they have streamlined processes, reduced manual intervention, and improved scalability across public and private market activities—contributing to stronger risk management and enterprise-wide alignment. Talent development and team culture have also been a strong focus. Mike has championed leadership growth, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the function, reinforcing operations as both a high-performance platform and a long-term career path within the organization. Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2021, Mike held senior roles at TD Securities, where he led global operations for Fixed Income and Funding. He also worked in Deloitte’s Strategy & Operations practice and in risk management at BMO Financial Group. Mike holds an Honours BS in Statistics from Queen’s University and an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
