Matt Leef is the Global Head of Middle Office within the Global Investment Operations (GIO) organization. Mr. Leef’s organization consists of five teams: Trade management team that is responsible for Trade Support, Corp Actions, Bank Loan processing. The Risk and Control team which is responsible for Controls, Reconciliation, accounting processing and oversight of Outsource providers. The Reference Data Servies team responsible for account and security setups. The Distribution and Funding team responsible for Cash processing, Venture Capital oversight and processing and Security Lending. The Middle Office Solutions Group which is leading strategic projects for the Middle Office including the conversion to BNYM infrastructure. Mr. Leef is a member of the the Complex Products Committee, the Counterparty Risk Committee, the Derivatives Risk Committee, and the Securities Lending Committee. Mr. Leef reports directly to Don Muller the Head of Global Investment Operations. Prior to joining T Rowe Price Mr. Leef had over 21 years of experience in the financial services industry including managing Middle Office and Project teams at Credit Suisse, JP Morgan, HSBC, DLJ and Bankers Trust. Mr. Leef holds a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany.
