Keith Caplan

Keith is a New York-based Principal and has served the Financial Services Industry for more than 30 years. He is a leader in the Consulting Wealth & Asset Management practice where he leads the EY Asset Servicing and Private Equity Consulting business in the Americas. Additionally, Keith is the global consulting leader on a number of the firms largest Asset Management accounts. • Keith works with alternative managers, global diversified managers, asset owners and asset servicers (fund admins, custodians, middle office outsourcing, etc.) to improve the effectiveness of their operating models including systems, operations and organizational design with respect to outsourcing and offshoring. He has also facilitated asset managers through the outsourcing selection process and has worked with asset servicers to standardize client onboarding methods and procedures. • Keith has wide-ranging experience across business and technology transformation, due diligence and merger integration, business and technology strategy, process improvement, robotics automation, regulatory compliance, system development lifecycle management (waterfall and agile), alternative and traditional asset management client onboarding and advising on the operating models for front-, middle- and back-office investment operations. • Keith leads EY’s global Credit Fund team, focused on assisting PE and Credit managers with business, technology and data strategy, operating model design, outsourcing searches and onboardings and process integration across credit strategies. • Prior to joining EY, Keith held executive positions in the Wealth Management, Alternative Investments and Risk & Compliance practices at other big four consulting firms.
