Jason Creel

Jason Creel is a Managing Director at TIAA Wealth Management, where he currently leads the organization's comprehensive wealth technology and operations transformation, a multi-year strategic initiative modernizing TIAA's entire wealth platform. This transformation touches every aspect of the wealth business, from front-end client experiences through back-end operations, creating simpler, more intuitive experiences for wealth clients while empowering wealth associates with enhanced capabilities and efficiency.

Prior to his current transformation leadership role, Jason was responsible for TIAA's complete suite of wealth investment solutions, including all managed account programs, from the direct-to-consumer robo-advisor (TIAA Personal Portfolio) and mass affluent unified managed account program (Portfolio Advisor) to high-net-worth private asset management, as well as the retail brokerage business and self-directed investing capabilities. During this time, he led the development and launch of new managed account products, successfully re-factored and re-launched legacy offerings, and drove strategic technology platform evaluations and conversions.

Prior to joining TIAA Wealth Management in 2006, Jason served as Senior Vice President with Bank of America's asset management division, Columbia Management. In this role, he was responsible for distributing Columbia Management's separately managed accounts, mutual funds, and institutional liquidity solutions within the Bank of America franchise, with particular focus on Broker/Dealer and Private Bank lines of business.

Jason earned his Bachelor's degree in corporate communications from the College of Charleston and resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and three daughters.
