Anita Karier

Head of GPS Global Initiatives, Investment Services Invesco

Anita joined Invesco’s Investment Operations group in June 2010 as part of the Van Kampen acquisition. She began her career with Invesco in the Strategy and Administration area. Anita accepted the Portfolio Operations role in December 2010, and now has responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Portfolio Operations department including Equity Trade Processing, Portfolio Manager Support, Derivative Support, and Reconciliation.

Anita has been in the investment industry for thirty-six years. She has had various roles and responsibilities in Operations. Prior to joining Invesco, Anita worked for Morgan Stanley Van Kampen as the Manger Investment Operations in the Houston office. In this role she was responsible for Trade Processing, Portfolio Manager Support, Client Service Administration, and the firm’s Separately Managed Account business.
